James, a seasoned aviation professional with over 30 years of experience and 8,000 flight hours, brings a wealth of knowledge from his diverse roles in the aviation industry. From pilot and instructor to FAA Training Center Evaluator, James has honed his expertise in facilitative learning, communication, CRM tactics, and leadership.
Currently the Director of Flight Operations at Stature Aviation, James oversees critical departments such as Flight Training, Maintenance, and Aircraft Management, ensuring operational excellence and a premium aviation experience. Beyond his operational leadership, James is the founder of Pilot Emotional Intelligence Training (PEIT) and Combined Organizational and Operational Leadership (COOL), initiatives that emphasize the importance of emotional intelligence in fostering safety, communication, and team trust.
During the luncheon, James will share insights from his groundbreaking doctoral research at the University of Arizona Global Campus. His study explores how Emotional Intelligence (EI) predicts work engagement in the Business Aviation Industry and how factors such as education and experience influence this relationship. His findings highlight the critical role of EI in enhancing employee engagement and suggest strategies for integrating EI training into organizational frameworks.
